CAO - LX2 September 21st, 2008 by Ironmeden As Hurricane Ike bears down on Minnesota tonight, the public is warned to take shelter. Ok, so the hurricane isn’t here, but the winds are quite wicked tonight.  I’m sure if there was a little more moisture in the air today, we’d be dealing with some thunderstorms. Now I have an observation, for years now we’ve been naming all the tropical depressions and hurricanes in the Atlantic and Gulf, why don’t we name Blizzards here in the Midwest? Blizzards
